Furthermore, Thailand has mandatory data retention laws, which require Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to store users’ metadata for a specific duration. While Thailand may offer certain privacy protections, it is crucial to consider these potential risks and challenges when evaluating the country as a VPN server location.
