DataCamp Limited (CDNext) is a UK based cloud hosting company who operates subsidiaries CDN77 and Datapacket. According to their website, they are a high-performance CDN, provides high-bandwidth dedicated servers, and runs advanced network monitoring software.
In late September 2021, a number of independent film companies filed a lawsuit against Datacamp, claiming that the CDN company offered services to multiple VPN providers.
The complaint stated that Datacamp did not close the accounts of these VPN providers despite receiving numerous warnings. Consequently, the company faced accusations of contributory and vicarious copyright infringement, along with demands for an injunction.
A recent lawsuit filed against Datacamp in the United States brings up similar allegations of copyright infringement.
