Choopa, LLC is a dotcom startup that began offering managed hosting and VPS services in the early 2000s. At some point in the last several years the domain choopa.com began redirecting to vultr.com, which is owned by The Constant Company. A 2014 forum thread[1] speculated that Vultr.com was a subsidiary launched by Choopa, but it seems as though Choopa was consolidated into the brand Vultr (as well as Constant Hosting). Sometime in 2020 Constant Hosting rebranded themselves as simply “Constant” which advertises Vultr.com as their flagship product.
It is important to note that Choopa / Vultr / Constant do not offer VPN services themselves but are a popular choice for people looking to host their own private VPN servers, or companies looking to resell and/or expand their VPN offerings.
